Samp Women suffer narrow defeat to Milan

Fresh off the back of their historic opening day win over Lazio last weekend, Sampdoria Women turned in another excellent performance in their first home outing of the new Serie A TIMVISION campaign. This time however they found themselves on the losing side against Milan, who picked up a narrow win.

With Doria club president Massimo Ferrero in attendance, the visitors earned a 1-0 victory thanks to Greta Adami’s goal early in the second period. She produced an excellent near-post header to send a corner from the right into the Samp goal.
