Samp continue Cagliari build-up, final session on Friday

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini late on Thursday morning to continue their preparations for Saturday afternoon’s Serie A Week 7 clash away at Cagliari.

The match kicks off at the Sardegna Arena at 15:00 CET on Saturday.

At the training ground, the Blucerchiati got stuck into some stretching and fitness exercises with a focus on recovery, as well as working through a series of rondos.

Keita Balde received treatment and physiotherapy, while Lorenzo Tonelli had an individual strength session in the gym. Manolo Gabbiadini trained alone outside as he continues his recovery programme.

Samp will have their final training session in Bogliasco on Friday morning, before departing for Sardinia in the early afternoon.
