Samp U19s held to draw by Sassuolo

Sampdoria U19s had to settle for a single point after coming from behind to share the spoils with Sassuolo.

Pinelli drew first blood for the visitors midway through the first half but Di Stefano levelled matters shortly before the hour mark.

Felice Tufano’s side kept probing for a winner but were unable to break through the Sassuolo wall.

A fiery finale saw a red card given for either side, meaning the Blucerchiati will travel to AC Milan at the weekend for their final game of the regular season without suspended duo Prelec and Yepes Laut.
