Transfer market is over: Rodrìguez, Sansone and Gavazzi join us
No
last minute deals or prestigious transfers. The winter football
market session ended without big shocks. The final transfer balance
sheet of Sampdoria is made up of three arrivals and three departures.
Nicola Pozzi moves to Siena, Fernando Tissone to Mallorca and Juan Antonio to Varese,
while our new reinforcement for the right wing is the Argentinian 26
years old Matías Nicolás Rodríguez, coming from the Universidad
de Chile. For the
same playing position arrives another 26 years old player, Davide Gavazzi.
He was on loan to Vicenza and he now comes back home in spite of a
serious injury that will keep him away from the field for some
months.
Option.
Talking about forwards, Delio Rossi can now count on a new,
substantial option: Gianluca Sansone. The left footed player, born in 1987,
can surely give fantasy and vivacity to an offensive position whose
diamond point is Mauro Icardi. During the last market hours S.S.C. Napoli
tried signing the young striker but Sampdoria rejected this attempt,
as well as Juventus’ one for Andrea Poli.
Line-up.
With a view to the imminent match against Torino F.C., that will be
played in the "Olimpic" stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m., Sampdoria
can count on Enzo Maresca but won’t have at disposal the disqualified
Pedro Obiang and must investigate Angelo Palombo’s conditions. In fact, during
the week he suffered an adductor muscle problem.
