Sampdoria controls the game, Inter wins: Palacio mocks us
What
a prank! We can’ t say it differently. With the minimum effort and
a strenuous defence Inter wins the 29th
match of the championship (it was originally scheduled for Sunday
17th
march but it was postponed because of bad weather conditions), and
condemns Sampdoria to the second defeat in three matches. An
undeserved defeat, that is also excessive (0-2, double Rodrigo Palacio).
Anyway it is a defeat that does not really complicate our plans for
salvation – we have been very resourceful and always present in the
match – even if, thinking about the next fundamental and close
matches against Palermo (next Sunday) and Genoa (the derby will be on
Sunday 14th
April), it can sound as a little alarm bell.
Maturity.
«The
winner is always right. That’s the field’s verdict and we must
accept it – declared Delio Rossi -. If we want to take the ship to the port
we have to keep doing what we did against Inter. Since I’ve arrived
our fans have always supported the team, and it is a clear evidence
of great framework’s maturity. We are doing our best: we always
work hard and people appreciate it».
Going
on like this. Andrea Poli agrees with the mister. The midfielder, who earned
the fourth yellow card and won’t take part to the next match in
Marassi against the rosanero, when Andrea Costa maybe available again,
explains:
«We are not satisfied with the final result but did a positive
performance and we must go on like this, playing each game to win.
I’m sure we’ll do the same against Palermo too».
