Derby is coming: Sampdoria lusts for revenge

week. Week of wait and passion, dreams and revenges. The typical week
previous to the Lanterna
derby, a match that in Genova lasts all year and that this time could
worth much more than three mere points. On Sunday, Sampdoria will
arrive strengthened by the nine-points advantage with respect to the

cannot consider themselves safe and so the aim, for more than a
reason, must be just one: the victory.

Everybody wants this result. The society and the footballers, coach
Rossi and the fans, who has completely depleted all available tickets

warmth and colors, with the hope of giving back the “favor” to
the city rivals, two years after the painful relegation.

Speaking about the formation, it seems that Daniele Gastaldello and Marcelo Estigarribia
are recovering, Andrea Costa looks to have overcome a calf complaint, while Andrea
Poli will return after the disqualification. There are still some
doubts about Nenad Krsticic. Enzo Maresca
is on alert.
