After beating the OM, Sampdoria prepares its season in Hungary

Five
matches, 34 goals scored, 4 suffered and a new cup in its palmarès:
that’s Sampdoria’s balance after the first part of the summer retreat. Three
weeks spent between Bogliasco and Bardonecchia ending with a prestigious
success against the Olympique de Marseille for the first edition of the "Riccardo Garrone" Trophy.

Individualities. The result of the Saturday night Marassi’s party, dedicated to our President who passed away on last January, is not only a sensational 4-3 victory against a team ready to play the Champions League, but also a general positive physical condition and some good individualities. The best player of the match was Manolo Gabbiadini, who scored two goals and created some good actions with Eder Citadin Martins, author of a goal, such as the other Brazilian, the match-winner Renan Garcia.

Hungary. Now Delio Rossi’s guys are in Bük, in Hungary, place of the second part of the summer retreat before playing the first official matches of the TIM Cup (17th august at the "Ferraris" stadium against the winner of Virtus Lanciano-Benevento) and of championship (24th august against Juventus for a dreaming debut). In Hungary, apart from training to improve physicality and movements, Daniele Gastaldello & co. will play against two local teams: Haladás and Soproni VSE.
