Championship’s over: Samp conquers the city supremacy and waits for Mihajlovic

to three. Forty-five points. Twelfth place in the ranking. Fifty-seven
over sixty-eight. Our seasonal ending deals with numbers. And numbers
speak volumes, as always. Those related to the last game of the
championship say that at the “Friuli” stadium of Udine, Sampdoria gets a
3-3 draw in a typical off-season match, characterized by inspired
attacks and wavering defenses, long teams and lots of free spaces.

Numbers – in general – tell us about a team in blucerchiato that ends 84 per cent of championships played placing itself before the city rivals and conquers the Genoese football supremacy.  And it happened again, despite a tormented year.
