Garrone family sells Sampdoria: Ferrero is the new president

Massimo Ferrero is U.C. Sampdoria new owner and president. The by now ex-president Edoardo Garrone announced it, by surprise, during the press-conference he organized to inform the media and the supporters of the passing on of the Club to the cinematographic producer born in Rome 62 years ago. «I’m honored to wear this shirt – declared Ferrero wearing the number 10 blucerchiata -, because Garrone is one of the most honest and correct persons I’ve ever met. And the president acted to preserve Sampdoria interest and not to preserve his own or mine: only Samp’s one. My aims for this new adventure?
