Another spectacular Ravano Tournament comes to a close: Carlo Osti presents awards

After an enjoyable ten days, the 34^th Torneo Alberto Ravano and 25^th Coppa Paolo Mantovani – one of Europe’s biggest sports events for school children – has come to a close. What began as a small football tournament has now developed into a kind of Olympic Games, with 11 different sports on show, and that is in no small part due to the work of Sampdoria and the Mantovani family. Among the Blucerchiati players to attend the events in Genoa were Vid Belec, Angelo Palombo, Lucas Torreira and Duván Zapata, all of whom received a rapturous welcome from the youngsters. Sporting director Carlo Osti and former player Christian Puggioni, along with Doria legends Attilio Lombardo and Marco Lanna, handed out awards to the winners. We’re already looking forward to next year’s edition!
