Blucerchiati Ambassadors: Sampdoria opens up to the world

United States; Turkey, Israel and the Middle East; Hong Kong and South China – these are the countries and geographic areas where the first three Sampdoria Ambassadors will be based. The club’s new project was unveiled to the media and authorities at Confindustria Genova on Friday.

Sampdoria and president Massimo Ferrero’s aim is to set up a network of international ambassadors capable of weaving institutional, commercial and sports relations together, as club lawyer Antonio Romei and marketing director Marco Caroli explained.

The names of the three Ambassadors were also revealed during the conference: Marco Ansaldo, a La Repubblica journalist based in Turkey, who attended the presentation, Franco Ravano, CEO and president of Cressi USA, and Francesco Vitali, senior tax manager for Deloitte in Hong Kong, the latter two connected via Skype.
