Fernandes and Praet report back, closed session Friday morning

Sampdoria continued their preparations ahead of Sunday’s trip to face Roma with an afternoon session at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.

After a warm-up to begin with, the team was split into groups to focus on tactical work. Bruno Fernandes returned after his win with Portugal U21 and worked alongside Dennis Praet. Matias Silvestre went through a recovery session.

Luis Muriel made it back to Bogliasco late in the day and went through a short workout to loosen up after his long journey home from South America.

Closed training sessions have been pencilled in for Friday and Saturday morning for the Blucerchiati squad.
