Giampaolo selects 24 for the derby with Dodo missing out

There were no last-minute hiccups as Sampdoria went through their final preparations on the upper pitch at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini.

After training, Marco Giampaolo named a 24-man squad for this evening’s derby match against Genoa. Emiliano Viviano, Daniel Pavlovic and Carlos Carbonero miss out, with Dodo Pires also unavailable for selection. Here is the squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Krapikas, Puggioni, Tozzo.

Defenders: Amuzie, Krajnc, Pereira, Regini, Sala, Silvestre, Skriniar.

Midfielders: Alvarez, Barreto, Cigarini, Djuricic, Eramo, Fernandes, Linetty, Palombo, Praet, Torreira.
