Invent unveiled as Sampdoria’s new main sponsor

U.C. Sampdoria has announced that Veneto-based energy company Invent is the club’s new main sponsor. The partnership was unveiled at a press conference held at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday.

“It’s an honour to be part of the Blucerchiati family,” said Invent CEO Sante Bortoletto during the conference. “Sampdoria are a young team, much like our company. Our market is based around green energy and we’ve patented a new technology which uses black photovoltaic components. We’re able to print the Sampdoria logo or images of the players celebrating onto these. We hope that it’s something that appeals to the many supporters of this fantastic team. Our aim is to continue working together and see that become a reality.”

Also appearing at the conference was Samp sporting director Carlo Osti.

“We’re delighted to have begun this new partnership,” he said. “It’s great to be linked to a professional organisation like Invent and I hope that our relationship will prove fruitful for both parties. We are very happy to link up with Gianfranco Bellotto, who played an important part in the history of Sampdoria.”
