Levante eSports Cup: Lonewolf and Sampdoria in Valencia for FIFA tournament

Sampdoria’s eSports gamer Mattia Lonewolf92 Guarracino will set off for Spain in two weeks’ time to represent the Blucerchiati in the first edition of the eSports International Cup, organised by Levante.

Sixteen of Europe’s best teams – including the likes of Manchester City, PSG, Ajax, Monaco and Schalke 04 – are to take part in the FIFA 18 tournament, which will be played at the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December.

An amateur tournament will be run alongside the pro event, which features a group phase and a knockout stage. The final is to be played on the balcony overlooking the dugouts during half-time at Levante’s La Liga fixture against Athletic Bilbao – a dream come true for gamers.
