Morning training session including players returning from international duty

Sampdoria have all their players back with Vid Belec the last of those away on international duty to return. Marco Giampaolo’s squad training this morning in Bogliasco, with a session split between gym, strength work and tactics.

In addition to Vasco Regini, other players that did not take part in the session were Joachim Andersen, Vid Belec, Jakub Jankto, Dawid Kownacki and Gabriele Rolando, who did their own individual recovery work.

Nine players from the Primavera – Mohamed Bahlouli, Leonardo Benedetti, Lorenzo Boschini, Axel Campeol, Yassin Ejjaki, Tommaso Farabegoli, Matteo Raspa, Ognjen Stijepovic and Jamie Yayi Mpie – joined up with the first team.

Tomorrow the squad will continue their preparations for the match with Sassuolo in two groups, one training in the morning and the second in the afternoon.
