Poland’s World Cup run comes to premature end after Colombia defeat

Poland were beaten 3-0 by Colombia in their second and all-important Group H match at Russia 2018, ending their chances of advancing to the round of 16. They will face off against Japan, in a game that now carries little meaning for the Polish side, on 28 June.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Dawid Kownacki both started the match in Kazan, and were subbed off on 72 and 57 minutes respectively. Karol Linetty watched from the bench as Mina, Falcao and Cuadrado scored for the South American side.
