President Ferrero attends Saturday session in Bogliasco

The Blucerchiati reconvened at the training ground on Saturday – minus deadline-day signings Riccardo Saponara and Lorenzo Tonelli – for their last session of the week.

President Massimo Ferrero, Antonio Romei and sporting director Carlo Osti watched on from the sidelines as Marco Giampaolo guided his men through a 75-minute session which involved a series of training games on a full-size pitch. Youth players Mohamed Bahlouli, Yassin Ejjaki, Daouda Peeters and Roberts Veips were drafted in to make up the numbers.

Nicola Murru and Gaston Ramírez followed personalised programmes, Albin Ekdal did some individual fitness work and Vasco Regini continued his recovery with a session in the pool. Omar Colley was allowed to take the day off for personal reasons.

After a day of rest on Sunday, Monday will see the return of players who need to do personalised work while the full squad will resume training on Tuesday.
