Tactics session ahead of Bologna clash, Giampaolo press conference tomorrow

Sampdoria continued to prepare for the first midweek round of fixtures of the 2016/17 Serie A season with a tactics session on the upper pitch in Bogliasco on Monday.

Andrea Tozzo and Carlos Carbonero both continued working on their respective recovery plans, while Daniel Pavolic underwent tests – the results of which will be analysed in the coming hours. Jacopo Sala worked out in the pool and received physiotherapy treatment.

Samp will train again tomorrow morning behind closed doors, with Marco Giampaolo’s pre-match press conference following at 12:30 CEST. The squad will then eat lunch together before making the trip to Bologna to face Roberto Donadoni’s side.
