U.C. Sampdoria and Joma present 2018/19 home, away and third kits

U.C. Sampdoria and Joma are proud to present Samp’s new home, away and third kits for the 2018/19 season.

Joma set out to design and produce playing kit using the latest sportswear technology, both to improve the players’ comfort and provide fans with a product of the highest calibre. The new jerseys are made using polyester interlock, a fabric renowned for its quality, elasticity and resistance.

The 2018/19 line aims to emphasise Sampdoria’s history and identity, with Blucerchiati (blue, white, red, black, white, blue) stripes featuring prominently on all three playing kits as well as on the goalkeeper’s top.

The home strip has been redesigned to ensure a closer-fitting shirt. Another new feature are the words ‘Genova 12 agosto 1946’ embossed on the sleeves, underlining the club’s bond with the city and its own history. White, red and black stripes run around the blue collar with a white strip running down towards the chest, giving it the appearance of a V.

The away strip is in traditional white with blue, white, red and black stripes running down the length of the shirt, over the heart, and on the back of the shirt too. It comes with a Korean-style collar and hidden buttons.

The third kit is black and bears – as it has for several years now – an old-style badge. The V-neck collar and drawstrings are a clear reference to Sampdoria’s history, as is the embossed ‘Genova 12 agosto 1946’ on the sleeves.

The goalkeeper jersey is fluorescent yellow – a colour previously only used for Sampdoria’s training kit – which enhances the blue, white, red and black running diagonally across the left shoulder. The goalie top also features the city’s coat of arms over the heart.
