U19s edge out of playoff spots with draw against Fiorentina
Sampdoria Primavera moved out of the playout spots with a hard-earned point against Fiorentina on Friday.
Simone Pavan’s side extended their unbeaten run to four games – following recent wins over Torino and Empoli and last week’s draw with Inter – and now find themselves in 12th place, though it remains tight at the bottom with three teams within two points of the Blucerchiati.
Next week Samp will be hoping to further boost their hopes of beating the drop when they face bottom-of-the-table Udinese.
