Work in two groups, morning session on Wednesday

Sampdoria have resumed training in Bogliasco. As ever at the start of the week, Marco Giampaolo split the squad in two based on playing time over the weekend.

Those who featured for the bulk of the game on Sunday worked on recovery, while the rest – along with Primavera players Jacopo Cioce and Andrea Tessiore – had a full session on the show pitch with fitness and technical-tactical drills.

Luis Muriel and Jacopo Sala continued their recovery programmes on the pitch, while Emiliano Viviano spent time in the pool and with the physio. The squad will train once on Wednesday morning.
