Biomechanical tests and first training session with Di Francesco

Sampdoria got their pre-season under way with a busy schedule on Tuesday.

The players reported to Villa Montallegro in the morning for biomechanical tests and medical examinations, then in the late afternoon they made their way up to Bogliasco for their first training session of 2019/20.

The squad began with a warm-up on the artificial Garrone pitch, where they were given a warm welcome by a crowd of fans.

Afterwards, they moved onto pitch 2 for their first session with Eusebio Di Francesco, which included plenty of ball work as well as fitness and technical drills.

The team will undergo further tests in groups on Wednesday morning before training at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini once more in the afternoon. For safety reasons due to ongoing structural work, the general public will not be able to enter the training ground.
