Hill runs and high-press practice game for Samp

An intense morning’s work for Sampdoria saw Dr Alberto Bartali put the squad to the test with a series of hill runs and sprints on the pitch. Emiliano Viviano was back with his team-mates, while Jose Campaña was forced to train separately alongside Christian Puggioni, Niklas Moisander and Joaquin Correa as they look to return to full fitness.

There was a mixed session in the afternoon, however, as Walter Zenga engaged his men in a high-press practice game and worked on set pieces. The squad will train again tomorrow morning at 10:00 CEST before their third preseason friendly in the afternoon.
