Group session on tactics and shooting, match against Triglav on Friday

Sampdoria trained this morning, bolstered by the latest arrivals in Val Rendena in the shape of Luis Muriel and Ervin Zukanovic, working on fitness.

In the afternoon meanwhile, the squad prepared for their first friendly in Pinzolo with work on tactics, set-pieces and shooting practice. The groups rotated between stations, as they build up to the match against NK Triglav, tomorrow at 17:30. Given the impending game – and the subsequent run-out against Trapani – Walter Zenga and his staff have decided to cancel the morning session, instructing the squad to report back for the game in the afternoon.

Session. No change with regards to the injury situation from this morning. Christian Puggioni and Joaquín Correa had treatment, while Niklas Moisander followed a specific session. Roberto Soriano meanwhile worked on recovery.
