Afternoon group session before Monday off

Sampdoria trained in the afternoon without Walter Zenga. After a brief chat with the full squad, Gigi Cagni took Sunday’s session, splitting the players into groups. Some worked on recovery, while others focused on fitness and technical drills. A further group, including Niklas Moisander, continued their rehab programmes, while Christian Puggioni and Joaquín Correa had treatment.

The staff have given the whole squad the day off tomorrow. They will report back to the Centro Sportivo Pineta on Tuesday morning.
