Europa League: Sweden’s Andreas Ekberg to referee Sampdoria v Vojvodina

Swedish referee Andreas Ekberg has been selected to officiate the first leg of Sampdoria’s Europa League third qualifying round match against Vojvodina, scheduled to take place at Turin’s Stadio Olimpico on Thursday 30 July 2015.

Born in 1985, Ekberg has been an international referee since 2014 and has taken charge of five European fixtures, though none of these have involved Italian or Serbian clubs. Ekberg will be assisted by Fredrik Nilsson and Per Brogevik, while the fourth official will be Michael Lerjeus.
