Final preparations. The countdown to Europe is on. Sampdoria prepare for continental debut
Sampdoria had a run-out on the pitch at Turin’s Stadio Olimpico and began to savour the atmosphere for European football. The Blucerchiati trained for the first time in the stadium which will host the Europa League third qualifying round, after Serbian side Vojvodina had earlier tested the surface.
Walter Zenga’s men followed a warm-up with drills on tactics and technique, before focusing on forward play and ending the session with shooting practice. Christian Puggioni and Joaquín Correa trained separately on the pitch. The serious action begins tomorrow night: kick-off is at 21:00.
