#vivilasamp: The man who hitchhiked from Genoa to Novi Sad

Tommaso Giani, a thirty-two-year-old seminarian from Pontedera, is a Blucerchiati man through and through. And he was determined to cheer on Sampdoria in their Europa League third qualifying round second-leg match against Vojvodina, so much so that he hitchhiked the full 1100 kilometres to Novi Sad.

In total, Tommaso received a whopping 23 free lifts along the way. His prize? A free ticket to watch the match at Karađorđe Stadium and a seat on the team’s flight home. Because sometimes, you have to go the extra mile to support the Blucerchiati.
