Cassano rejoins the Blucerchiati: “I’m happy, forza Samp forever!”

He’s back. Back at Sampdoria, a club that means so much to him. 1,679 days on, Antonio Cassano is once again a Sampdoria player. President Massimo Ferrero and the whole club are delighted to announce that earlier this morning in Genoa the forward from Bari signed a contract until 30 June 2017. Cassano penned his deal with Sampdoria in the presence of the sporting director and the lawyer Giuseppe Bozzo.

“I’m happy, forza Samp forever,” was Fantantonio’s reaction to the news. He will report for his first training session under Walter Zenga later this afternoon at Bogliasco’s Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini.
