Final session before Napoli match, Zenga names 23-man squad

Sampdoria have had their last training session before making the trip south ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Napoli. After warming up with some technical drills, Zenga’s men worked on both attacking and defensive tactics before rounding the session off with a minimatch.

Antonio Cassano and Nenad Krsticic continued their recovery from injury with some physiotherapy treatment, gym work and light training out on the pitch. Marco Marchionni and Gianluca Sampietro also trained separately. David Ivan was absent, having joined up with the Slovakian U21 squad.

Zenga has named the following 23-man squad for Napoli v Samp:

Goalkeepers: Brignoli, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Cassani, Coda,  Mesbah, Moisander, Pereira, Regini, Silvestre, Zukanovic.

Midfielders: Barreto, Carbonero, Correa, Fernando, Palombo, Serinelli, Soriano, Wszolek.

Forwards: Bonazzoli, Eder, Muriel, Oneto.
