Two-goal Eder talks to Samp TV: “Magnificent response in the second half”

With his confidently converted penalty and a wonder goal for the highlights reel, Eder Citadin Martins turned in a magnificent display at the San Paolo, cancelling out Gonzalo Higuain’s first-half double with a brace of his own to make it four goals in two games.

Before heading to Coverciano for international duty with Italy, the Brazil-born forward told Samp TV: “I’m really happy with my goals. We responded magnificently tonight. Something wasn’t working in the first 45 minutes but we came out strong in the second half.”
