Return to training at Bogliasco. New signings to be unveiled on Thursday

After handing his players two days off, Walter Zenga took charge of training again today in Bogliasco.

The Blucerchiati squad – bolstered by new signings Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, Michele Rocca and Alejandro Rodriguez – turned up for practice at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini without the players called up to the Italy squad and David Ivan, who is away on duty with Slovakia U21.

Bogliasco was treated to an appearance from Lorenzo De Silvestri, who is still on the road to recovery after the injury he suffered with the national team three months ago. Antonio Cassano, Andrea Coda and Nenad Krsticic also continued their personalised programmes.

Evrin Zukanovic underwent an operation on a nerve in his groin.

Tomorrow, Thursday 3 September, has a double session planned.

New signings Carlos Carbonero, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, Michele Rocca and Alejandro Rodríguez will also be presented tomorrow at 12:00 CET. Follow it live with us on Twitter!
