United against racism: Sampdoria lend support to Fare network’s Action Weeks

For the third season in a row, U.C. Sampdoria and Curva Sud supporters group Rude Boys & Girls 1987 are to team up in support of the Fare (Football against Racism in Europe) network. Since 1999, Fare has been organising its Action Weeks – running this year between 8 and 22 October – during which fans, ethnic minorities and sports clubs join forces to tackle discrimination.

On the invitation of Rude Boys & Girls 1987, which on Saturday will hold its ninth Antiracism Trophy, the Blucerchiati will take to the field to send a message in support of acceptance and social inclusion. This morning, at the Centro Sportivo in Bogliasco, Edgar Barreto, Carlos Carbonero, Fernando Lucas Martins and Pedro Pereira stepped forward to promote the initiative. Different nationalities, one message: united against racism, now and forever.
