Hard work at Bogliasco, double session Wednesday

Sampdoria got back down to training today at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini in Bogliasco.

After a meeting between head coach Walter Zenga and his staff, the squad focused on fitness drills and exercises on tactics and technique under the watchful eye of sporting director Carlo Osti.

Edgar Barreto and Matías Silvestre were put through their paces in individual workouts, while Djamel Mesbah also had a personalised session. Andrea Coda and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos continued their individual recovery programmes. Nenad Krsticic has been given time off by the club.

Tomorrow has a double session planned for the Blucerchiati.
