Tactics and set plays before Verona. 23-man squad for lunchtime kick-off

Walter Zenga gathered his men together in Bogliasco today for the team’s final training session before they lock horns with Hellas Verona at 12:30 tomorrow.

After warming up, the players were guided through a series of tactical drills then worked on dead-ball situations before ending the session with some shooting practice.

Djamel Mesbah and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos trained separately while Nenad Krsticic and Andrea Coda continued with their recovery programmes.

In the evening Walter Zenga released the list of players in his squad for the lunchtime kick-off in Marassi, which includes Matías Silvestre and Edgar Barreto:

Goalkeepers: Brignoli, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Cassani, De Silvestri, Moisander, Pereira, Regini, Silvestre, Zukanovic.

Midfielders: Barreto, Carbonero, Correa, Fernando, Ivan, Palombo, Rocca, Soriano.

Forwards: Bonazzoli, Cassano, Eder, Muriel, Rodriguez.
