Tactics and set plays on Sunday morning. 24-man party travels to Verona

Walter Zenga and his backroom staff gathered the Doria squad together at the training ground on Sunday morning for their final training session before setting off for Verona, where they will do battle with Chievo on Monday evening.

Starting with some muscle reactivation exercises, the players moved onto tactical drills in groups then ran through a series of dead-ball situations.

The only three not involved were Andrea Coda, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos and Nenad Krsticic, who continued their respective recovery programmes aimed at getting them back to full fitness.

After lunch the team flew to Verona before continuing to their hotel by coach.

Here is the full squad available to the manager for tomorrow’s 19:00 kick-off at the Stadio Bentegodi:

Goalkeepers: Brignoli, Puggioni, Viviano.

Defenders: Cassani, De Silvestri, Mesbah, Moisander, Pereira, Regini, Silvestre, Zukanovic.

Midfielders: Barreto, Carbonero, Correa, Fernando, Ivan, Palombo, Rocca, Soriano.

Forwards: Bonazzoli, Cassano, Eder, Muriel, Rodriguez.
