Soriano takes the blame: “We made too many errors and lacked grit”
Roberto Soriano believes Sampdoria were missing that fighting spirit which drives a team on in today’s game against Udinese.
Here’s what the Blucerchiati skipper had to say after the 1-0 loss at the Stadio Friuli.
“We should have had more belief in ourselves and shown more determination. We’re angry because we made too many mistakes and that often happens when we play away from home.
“We’ve got a week to get ready for the AC Milan game and perform better than we did today.
“As for whether you can already see Montella’s influence, I think some of his ideas on how to play the game were on show, but we’re still taking them on board.”
