Samp straight back to work as three Blucerchiati return to training

Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria squad wasted no time in getting straight back to work on Monday morning after Sunday night’s defeat to Udinese.

There was good news in Bogliasco as Andrea Coda, Nenad Krsticic and Djamel Mesbah all returned to normal training alongside the players not involved at the Friuli in Sunday. The team that started against Udinese had a recovery session. Joaquin Correa continued his individual training plan, while Mattia Cassani received physiotherapy treatment.

Emiliano Viviano missed training after spending the night at the Casa di Cura Villa Montallegro clinic after complaining of stomach pains. He was discharged on Monday morning after tests all came back clear.

The Blucerchiati will have a rest day on Tuesday before training resumes on Wednesday with a double session ahead of Saturday’s trip to AC Milan.
