Sampdoria to meet AC Milan in Coppa Italia last-16

A Christmas rematch. Sampdoria will host AC Milan in the last-16 of the 2015/16 Coppa Italia.

Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Rossoneri needed 120 minutes to see off Crotone in the fourth round, eventually winning 3-1 with extra-time goals from Bonaventura and Niang, after Budimir had cancelled out Luiz Adriano’s opener.

The teams will meet on 17 December in Genoa, with Vincenzo Montella’s side still smarting from the four they conceded on Saturday. The kick-off time is yet to be confirmed.
