Montella has Moisander back to fitness, training behind closed doors on Friday

Sampdoria continued their preparations in Bogliasco this morning ahead of Sunday’s home match against Sassuolo.

Niklas Moisander made his return to the group, while Djamel Mesbah was given permission to skip the session for personal reasons.

On the injury front, Joaquin Correa continued his personal recovery programme.
