Tactical work in Catania on Saturday. Training on Sunday morning before departure for Rome

Sampdoria trained at the sports centre in Mascalucia on Saturday with just 48 hours to go to their Monday night match against Lazio.

There was a video session to get things started before Vincenzo Montella took the squad outside for some warm-up work followed by a series of tactical drills. All the players took part in the day’s programme with the exception of Nenad Krsticic, who had continued his recovery work back at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.

The Blucerchiati will train again on Sunday morning before leaving their Sicily training base to head to Rome by plane after lunch.
