Straight back to work, Montella press conference tomorrow at 11:30 CET

It was straight back to work for Sampdoria as they gathered at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday afternoon to kick start their preparations for Sunday’s visit of Palermo, with both Vincenzo Montella and president Massimo Ferrero looking on.

While those involved for all or most of Thursday night’s Coppa Italia defeat to AC Milan had a recovery session, the rest of the squad worked through a series of fitness drills.

Edgar Barreto and Matias Silvestre trained with the group for part of the session, with Eder Citadin Martins training separately.
