Fans flock to Bogliasco for first session of 2016, behind closed doors on Saturday

There was a large crowd of supporters at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini today, as Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria welcomed in the new year with an afternoon workout.

The Blucerchiati stepped out onto the pitch to go through a series of exercises working on fitness. Ricky Alvarez, Joaquín Correa, Eder Citadin Martins, Djamel Mesbah, Luis Muriel and Matías Silvestre stuck around after the session had finished for a second helping of physical conditioning.

Roberto Soriano trained individually in the gym.

The players will be back out tomorrow morning for the first of three workouts behind closed doors in the build-up to the derby.
