President Ferrero visits Bogliasco as Dodo returns to training

Vincenzo Montella’s Sampdoria squad trained behind closed doors on Thursday afternoon as their preparations for Saturday’s trip to Hellas Verona reach their climax.

President Massimo Ferrero was there to observe training from the sidelines, as Dodo returned to action having missed yesterday’s session due to flu. David Ivan, Jacopo Sala and Carlos Carbonero all continued working on their personalised recovery plans.

The Blucerchiati will have their final session on Saturday, with Montella’s pre-match press conference to follow at 15:00 CET. The squad will then depart for Verona in the late afternoon.
