Samp trio earn Italy call-up for friendlies with Spain and Germany

Lorenzo De Silvestri, Andrea Ranocchia and Roberto Soriano have all been called up to the Italy squad for two friendly matches over the Easter break.

With Euro 2016 just three months away now, Antonio Conte’s Azzurri will get the chance to test their mettle in a double-header against Spain and Germany. Italy are to host the European champions at the Stadio Friuli on Thursday 24 March before visiting the world champions at Munich’s Allianz Arena on Tuesday 29 March.

Three players in a squad of 28 are a healthy return for Sampdoria and just reward for the fine performances our boys have been putting in for the Blucerchiati this season. Well done, lads!
