Technique and tactics on Friday afternoon. Final session before Florence trip on Saturday

Sampdoria were back at the training ground this afternoon as they continue to work towards Sunday’s visit to Fiorentina.

Vincenzo Montella and his coaching team guided the players through a series of technical and tactical drills before completing the session with some small-sided games.

While the main group trained up on the top pitch, Angelo Palombo (back) and Pedro Pereira (ankle) did individual exercises aimed at facilitating their recovery. Carlos Carbonero meanwhile continues his own recovery in Barcelona.

The Blucerchiati will have their final training session behind closed doors on Saturday morning before setting off for Florence in the afternoon.
