Squad split for training, next workout Friday afternoon

Vincenzo Montella gathered his players in Bogliasco this afternoon, as they began to work on their approach against Lazio on Sunday.

The coach and his staff decided to split the squad into two groups. Those who featured for the bulk of the game at Sassuolo worked on recovery, while the rest – including the Primavera’s Giedrius Matulevicius and Leonardo Serinelli – had an extended session on the pitch.

Carlos Carbonero continues his recovery in Barcelona, while Antonio Cassano, David Ivan and Jacopo Sala all followed personalised programmes – with some field work – at the Mugnaini. The lads will train again tomorrow afternoon.
