Viviano: “We had to dig in but we needed this point”

No one really knows why, but when Emiliano Viviano sets foot in Mapei Stadium he turns into a superhero. A year ago Vivio donned his cape and produced a comic-book display against Berardi and Co. This year he topped it with a performance that was even more out of this world, thwarting chance after chance – including a late penalty. As if Spiderman had spun an invisible web across the goalmouth.

“I’m happy with how I performed,” Viviano told Samp TV after the game, playing doing his contribution somewhat. “But I’m even happier because we picked up an important point.”
