Ferrero drops by training, Friday afternoon session behind closed doors

Sampdoria trained earlier on the main pitch at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini, as they continue preparations for their penultimate away trip of the season.

President Massimo Ferrero and sporting director Carlo Osti attended the session, which saw Vincenzo Montella and his staff run technical and tactical drills ahead of Palermo. The players also worked on training games, before finishing with a match on a small pitch.

Niklas Moisander and David Ivan continued their respective recovery programmes (the Slovak also did fitness work on the pitch), as did Carlos Carbonero, still in Barcelona. The squad will train behind closed doors tomorrow afternoon.
